Pricing

Free for the club. A clear fee for families. Nothing hidden.

The club pays nothing to set up and nothing each month. Families see one small fee as its own line at checkout, and the club keeps every dollar of its price.

The family fee

How the $3 + 3.5% works, to the cent

Every family payment carries a fee of $3 plus 3.5% of the payment. It appears at checkout as its own line, so families see exactly what it is. Card processing comes out of that fee, not out of the club’s money.

Example: a $375 registration

Payment optionFamily paysClub receives
Pay in full$391.13$375.00
Three payments, 30 days apart$132.38, then $129.38 twice ($391.14 in all)$375.00

On a payment plan the $3 is charged once, on the first payment; each later payment carries 3.5%. (The extra cent on the plan is rounding.)

The fine print, in plain words

  • The same fee applies to camps, clinics, tryouts and uniform payments, so there is one rule everywhere.
  • Donations carry no family fee.
  • On a very small payment the fee is never less than the card processing cost, so the club still receives its full price.
  • On an ordinary refund the family gets the price back and the fee is kept. If the club cancels the season, families get everything back, including our fee. Read more about refunds.

How we compare

Per-payment fees versus subscriptions

Youth sports software is usually paid for in one of two ways, and many platforms combine them:

  • A subscription or setup fee paid by the club, monthly or yearly, often with paid tiers or add-ons.
  • A processing or technology fee on each payment, which the club either absorbs or passes on to families.

Bougie League uses only the second, and only one fee: the club pays no subscription and no setup fee for the core modules, and the family fee already includes card processing. When you compare, add up everything the club pays in a season, and what a family pays on top of your price, for the same registration.

Pricing questions

Do we need a credit card to start?

No. The free modules need no card. You only pay if you choose Marketing or done-for-you setup.

Is there a monthly minimum?

No. The core modules have no subscription, so there is nothing to pay in a month with no registrations. Marketing, if you add it, is billed monthly.
